“Fabulous Felt”
Exhibition Opportunity 2nd May - 6th June
From wearable to exhibition pieces this is for those artists who have fun with felt. I am looking for high quality work across accessories, clothing, interior pieces and exhibition pieces. From Brooches to Wall hangings can be accommodated within the exhibition floor and three walk-in windows.
During this exhibition there will also be two workshops, one by Ewa Kuniczak, Painting with Fibres and the other by Sharon Kearley for children during the summer half term holidays

Deadline: for application Mon 6th April
Handing in dates: 24th April 2009 or before
Application/Exhibition fee £10 . Commission 40% the one off fee covers all pieces entered and helps towards the advertising of shows
The main exhibition space is the middle floor of the gallery. On the ground floor there is extra exhibition space for craft, books, art magazines and gifts. There is also be a featured craft artist each month, featured 2D work and workshops. “Sheep Dog Trials”
Exhibition Opportunity 11th March - 24th April
The gallery’s biannual fun dog show.
The gallery has held a few “dog” shows now and we also have a strong customer base for animal related art. This time along with the dogs we are inviting sheep, hence the silly title!
So art work that is a dog or a sheep or anything related to dogs or sheep is wanted. We did have giant textile bones one year! This is a show which will be advertised in pet shops and vet practices to encourage customers who perhaps wouldn’t think about visiting a gallery.
Any medium either 2 or 3D and we have a large floor space and high walls so large images or art work can be accommodate. We did have a life sized leather moose in one of our windows!
